About me and my therapy practice
I am a BACP Accredited counsellor based in Horsham.
Sometimes life can feel overwhelming and a constant struggle. Counselling gives you the space and opportunity to explore your thoughts and feelings.
I offer a calm, non-judgemental and confidential space for you to make sense of the problems you may be facing right now. I aim to help you find ways of coping better with the present, and gain a deeper understanding of yourself, increasing your self-esteem and confidence, thus allowing you to move forward to a more fulfilled way of living.
I strongly believe in the power we all have within ourselves to change and make a difference in our lives. As your therapist I will aim to facilitate and encourage you to trust yourself, make your own choices and find your own answers.
I work with adults and youths aged 11+ with issues including anxiety, stress, depression, panic attacks, bereavement, self-esteem, eating disorders and a loss of direction. In addition to my private practice, I have worked for the NHS Youth Counselling Service (NHS Mindsight Surrey CAMHS Service) in a busy GP’s Surgery in Surrey and also as a Counsellor in a Place2Be School in London.
My counselling approach is centred around you, focussing on you and what you wish to gain from therapy. Together we can explore the difficulties you are experiencing, helping you to gain a better understanding of them and enabling you to find ways to cope better with your personal situation.
I offer one-to-one counselling appointments from a comfortable private room in Horsham. An initial 20-minute consultation is available for you to talk about your counselling requirements and find out more about the way I work for this is £20. You can also text or email me with any questions you may have about counselling.
