About me and my therapy practice
Maybe you have a feeling things are not right in your life, you feel a loss of meaning. Perhaps relationships aren’t working, or you have lost someone close to you. I will meet you as a human being first and sit with you at the edge of where you feel your sorrow and discomfort. Here together, we can unravel what is troubling you.
You can work at your own pace and choose whether you would feel more comfortable working outside in nature, at my practice rooms, or on-line.
Being supported in this way can unearth new possibilities and can be the greatest gift we can give ourselves. If you would like to have a deeper discussion regarding your needs and how I can help. Please contact me for an informal chat.
Practice description
As your counsellor, I will work with you sensitively, welcoming you as an individual and encouraging you to share your story at your own pace.
My approach is:
Integrative - drawing on different counselling approaches to find one that suits your needs as a person.
• Psychodynamic - looking at your family history and how it influences your behaviour. How you can make different choices.
• Transpersonal and soulful - honouring the part of you that is searching for meaning. Finding expression for your longing.
• Relational - exploring how we relate together to help you understand how you relate with other people in your life.
• Creative - listening not only to your words, but also to your silences, your breath, your body, your imagination and your dreams. Where appropriate and with your consent, inviting expression of these different aspects of you through drawing, movement or visualisation.
• Wild - Taking therapy outdoors, bringing nature into the therapeutic conversation and process can enable a deep sense of connectedness.
My first session
You can contact me by email or by phone. Please leave a message and I will get back to you as soon as possible to arrange a convenient time for both of us to talk privately on the phone.
We can talk about what brings you to counselling and I can answer any questions you may have about how I work. If you feel you would like to work with me we can then arrange to meet for an initial session.
Our initial session can be at my practice or online, whatever suits you. The session is 50 minutes and I charge £50.00. This can be a further opportunity to see if I am the right counsellor for you, and if so, how we might work together going forward.

Adults, Older adults

About me and my therapy practice
There are moments in our lives when the difficulties we face can feel too much. We feel like we can’t manage them alone, even with partners, relatives or friends.
Counselling can offer the opportunity to unburden ourselves and explore our issues in a supportive, confidential environment. Sharing our feelings, being really heard and accepted can enable a deeper understanding of ourselves and other people. Over time, the process can become a way to unearth our innate potential and discover future possibilities.
