About me and my therapy practice
Is your mind cluttered with racing thoughts that make you feel anxious and stop you from moving forward and living the life you hope for? Perhaps the weight of current or past troubles is holding you back and interfering with your work or family or relationships. Sometimes we can cope with challenging life events, other times they grind us down leaving us feeling alone in our struggle.
I offer a space for you to pause so that together we can talk through your difficulties, think about your experiences, contemplate what they mean to you and empower you to find a way forward.
I welcome whatever issues you wish to bring, explored at your pace. You may want to focus on current problems. Other times it may be helpful to think about how your past is impacting on your present situation. A background in nursing underpins my rigorous 4 year counselling training and gives me unique insight into how emotional difficulties can effect physical health.
Making the changes you hope for, can seem daunting and it is completely normal to feel like this. I have a patient and compassionate approach and do my utmost to make you feel welcome and safe, enabling you to get the most from counselling.
I invite you to email or call me if you have any questions, or if you would like to arrange an initial consultation. This comes with no obligation to commit and is an opportunity to see if my approach suits you.
