About me and my therapy practice
Are you feeling isolated, lonely, or overwhelmed by relationships, family or friendship difficulties? Maybe you find yourself seeking comfort in food, alcohol or drugs? Or, you find yourself excessively working, online shopping or using social media, etc? Do any of these things sound familiar? If so, and you are new to counselling or psychotherapy, I know how nervous you are probably feeling. Taking such a step can be challenging, so I am here to support you.
Depending on your hopes and needs, we can work together over a brief period or for however long you require.
Whatever your focus, therapy can help you:
- Feel less anxious and less stressed
- Cultivate better personal and work life relationships
- Improve your confidence and assertiveness...
.... and in turn, feel happier within yourself.
I am a trained Psychosynthesis practitioner (holding a Masters level equivalent Post Graduate Diploma). Psychosynthesis is a style of counselling and psychotherapy; utilising a range of therapeutic approaches and techniques tailored to your needs.
Whatever difficulties you are experiencing, I will be there to walk alongside you. Whilst respecting your identity, your background, your past, your present situation and future aspirations, I will help you to find choice where there appears to be none.
Practice description
I am currently offering in-person opportunities for face-to-face counselling and psychotherapy sessions in London Bridge. This central London venue is clean and comfortable, and within walking distance from the tube/train stations.
I also offer sessions online (via Zoom). Online therapy is different to in person therapy but is still considered highly effective nonetheless. If we agree to work online we can discuss any challenges this may pose in your initial consultation (details below).
My first session
I offer all prospective clients a free 15 minute telephone consultation to see how I may be of service to you. Then depending on our availability we can arrange an initial 50 minute session.
The initial session is an opportunity to see how we can work together, explore your expectations and desired outcomes from therapy, and for you to ask any questions you may have regarding the process. Offering you a safe space to be seen and heard is my top priority.
Prior to the first session, I also will send you illustrative examples of my Client Agreement, my Privacy Statement, as well as my Online Therapy Guidelines. Any questions arising from these documents can be discussed during the first session.
