About me and my therapy practice
I am an Adlerian trained Counsellor/Psychotherapist who works alongside clients who feel stuck; at a low point; would like to see some change; or just need to talk.
We hear labels such as depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, OCD, addiction, bereavement, PTSD and trauma. But what do these mean for the individual? By allowing a safe space, issues can be explored together, and some insight can lead to action and change.
My Initial experience for the first few years has been working with a rape crisis and sexual abuse organisation. Additional training with Babette Rothschild/Carolyn Spring in the field of trauma, abuse and somatic impact.
My work is now client led and integrative, in terms of length of work together and modality required. I also use coaching principles based on P.Q (Positive Intelligence) principles.
