About me and my therapy practice
Adolescence and early adulthood can be an exciting time, but can also bring pressure, uncertainty, and emotional challenges. Navigating change, independence, and identity questions can sometimes lead to anxiety, low confidence, or a sense of feeling overwhelmed.
Whether you’re a young person seeking support, or a parent or caregiver looking for help for someone you care about, therapy can offer a steady and reflective space to process difficult emotions, make sense of experiences, and develop healthy ways to cope.
I’m a BACP-accredited counsellor and clinical supervisor offering online therapy for teenagers and young adults, typically aged 13 to 30. My approach is warm, integrative, and flexible — blending talking therapy with mindfulness, grounding techniques, and creative reflection to meet each person’s unique needs.
Together, we’ll create a space where you or your young person can feel understood, build emotional resilience, and move forward feeling more grounded, capable, and confident.
Practice description
Why work with me
Therapy today can offer more than just a space to talk. It can also be creative, grounding, and practical, a place to build emotional insight and everyday coping skills. I take a flexible, integrative approach, drawing on mindfulness, creative therapeutic activities, and somatic techniques to support emotional regulation, alongside traditional talking therapy. This allows us to shape sessions around what feels most supportive and effective for you. I aim to make therapy engaging, accessible, and empowering.
Who I work with
Many of the young people I work with are thoughtful, self-aware, and trying to understand who they are in a fast-changing and often overwhelming world.
You or your teenager may be:
- Feeling anxious, stuck, or emotionally overwhelmed
- Struggling with self-criticism, perfectionism, or a sense of not being good enough
- Facing transitions like exams, sixth form, university, moving abroad, or starting a new job
- Dealing with relationship or friendship difficulties, bullying, or parental divorce/separation
- Feeling disconnected, misunderstood, or unsure where you belong
What to expect in our sessions
Our work will be collaborative and adapted to your needs. Depending on what feels most helpful, sessions may include:
- Open, non-judgemental conversations to explore thoughts, feelings, and patterns
- Mindfulness and grounding tools to manage stress and regulate emotions
- Creative or reflective exercises to support self-awareness and confidence
- Practical strategies for coping with everyday challenges and emotional ups and downs
Together, we will create a safe and supportive space where you or your young person can explore what’s beneath the surface, build inner resilience, and move toward a life that feels more connected and meaningful.

I offer a free 30-minute consultation where we can talk about what you or your young person need help with and see if we might be a good fit to work together.

About me and my therapy practice
Hello, I’m Pippa
I offer clinical supervision for counsellors working with children, teenagers, and adults. My approach is supportive, collaborative, and grounded in years of experience working with clients across different ages and settings.
The right fit
Finding a supervisor is such a personal process - it’s about connection, trust, and support. Supervision should be a space where you can bring your whole self, share the challenges of the work, and feel heard and understood. My aim is to create a safe, reflective space where you can grow in confidence, explore creative interventions, and develop a deeper understanding of your practice.
I’ve been running my private practice since 2018, alongside working in schools and universities. My approach is integrative, with person-centred and psychodynamic theoretical frameworks and incorporating play, art, and somatically-informed mindfulness.
In 2024, I completed Counselling Tutor’s Advanced Certificate in Clinical Supervision Including Online Working and now offer low-cost supervision sessions as I continue developing in this area.
Practice description
Why work with me?
My background includes:
- Supporting children and young people in diverse school environments (state schools to international boarding schools).
- Private practice with clients across different age groups, and varied mental health needs.
- Creative therapy approaches (play therapy, art, and games) to help younger clients put feelings into words.
- Anna Freud Centre MSc research into adolescent wellbeing, referenced in a publication and presented at national conferences.
- A deep commitment to supporting the well-being of counsellors and helping professionals, with an understanding of burnout prevention.
I believe supervision is about partnership - working together to make sense of the complexities of client work, celebrating your strengths, and exploring areas where you want to grow. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to deepen your practice, I’m here to support you every step of the way.
