About me and my therapy practice

Looking for someone to talk to about relationships? I am an online counsellor who specialises in relationships, working with individuals to help them improve their relationship, or support them to leave a relationship, find a relationship, or move on from heartbreak - and everything in between.

If you are in a relationship:

Are you feeling unsatisfied in your relationship but don’t know how to improve it? Maybe you’re not sure if you want to continue to stay in the relationship, or would like support to help you end it.

If you have just come out of a relationship:

Has your relationship just ended and you’re struggling with overwhelming feelings, wondering what happened, why it happened, and what you can do about it?

If you are looking for a relationship:

Are you wishing you were in relationship and wondering why you can’t find anyone or why your relationships don’t last? Or maybe you’re living with the agony of unrequited love and don’t know what to do about it.

Whatever the relationship issue, do you feel you can’t talk to anyone about it? Maybe you’re scared of being judged, or feel that you don’t want to burden anyone, or think that no-one wants to listen, or that no-one will understand how you feel or what you’re going through?

There’s lots of information out there about how to have the perfect relationship, or how to find the person of your dreams, but it’s not always a case of one size fits all. Everyone is unique and every relationship is different. Counselling offers an alternative perspective on yourself and your relationship patterns – a bespoke service that is completely tailored to you.

Working one-to-one with UK-based adults aged 18 or over, I can help you to overcome the issues that are keeping you stuck, uncover underlying beliefs, understand yourself better, and support you to become the best version of you, your authentic self, to give you the freedom and clarity that will help you to make

Practice description

Born and raised on the North Wales/Cheshire border but now living in Dunoon, Scotland, I am a person-centred counsellor who believes that everyone is unique and has their own perspective on life, based on their thoughts, feelings and beliefs, gained through their previous experiences.

It's not a case of one-size-fits-all (after all, only you know exactly how you feel or what you've been through), so I'm not able to give you advice or tell you what to do to make you feel better. Instead, through building a relationship of trust and respect between us, we can work together towards finding the best way forward for you. A truly bespoke experience, tailored solely to you.

I offer 50-minute counselling sessions, with a reduced rate for the initial session which will allow us the opportunity to get to know each other and find out if we would like to work together.

All sessions are online via video (Zoom), so you can access all the benefits of counselling from the comfort of your own home, whilst eliminating the cost, time, stress and inconvenience of travelling to and from appointments.

Abuse, Anxiety, LGBTQ+ counselling, Men's issues, Relationships, Self esteem, Sexual identity, Sexuality, Stress, Women's issues

Types of therapy
