About me and my therapy practice
Have you tried and tried to repair what you feel is broken but still feel stuck and don’t know how to move forward? You may be having more bad days than good ones but are not sure why. Maybe you feel that everyone else seems to be coping so there must be something wrong with you? Are you feeling isolated, unable to share your feelings with those closest to you?
Sometimes we struggle with sadness, anxiety or self criticism, we can feel like life no longer holds any joy or charm for us. We feel frustrated with ourselves for not being ok - for not just “getting on with it”. We are often so understanding of other people's fallibility but have such high expectations of ourselves that we fall short.
I would like to get to know and your story. By gently looking at what hurts I can help you understand why you feel the way you feel. I work with kindness and compassion and you don’t have to worry that I will judge or be upset by what you tell me. We can look at strategies to help you make lasting changes and bring some peace and laughter back into your life. You’re not weird or broken and you are not alone.
If you feel I might be able to help and would like to know more you can contact me by text, phone or email. and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.

- Developing a trauma informed and sensitive practice
- Identifying your professional development needs
- Understanding and working with your clients fears, blocks and resistances

Neuro-divergence
Neurodivergent people make fantastic counsellors! - our lived experiences of difference can help us to access deep empathic understanding and acceptance to connect with our clients, whether they are neuro-typical or neuro-divergent.
Our brains are wired to pick up on micro cues and incongruence in others, helping us to be more attuned with our clients' implicit emotions and fluctuations.
If you are Autistic, have ADHD or otherwise neuro-divergent, or work with neuro-divergent clients I can offer an understanding and supportive ND positive environment to grow in confidence as a practitioner and celebrate our unique abilities and perspective.
