About me and my therapy practice
I am a Person-Centred Counsellor/Psychotherapist and I view the world and our experiences of life through a caring, philosophical, enlightened understanding. I offer a calm, honest and open approach towards our sessions.
My own life experiences help me have a greater understanding of the issues faced by others but not so that I know your experience. I will listen to you and help you understand and accept who you are by offering my observations and reflections, as well as my own personal experiences if I feel it’s helpful to you.
I also incorporate some of Dr David Hawkins work into the sessions helping you to identify feelings and patterns as they arise, helping you to experience the feelings as you experience them, letting go and working through any resistance that arises from the mind/ego.
In the sessions you decide what you want to explore, and this happens at your own pace with no pressure or expectations from me of what you ‘should’ talk about.
You are free to express yourself any way you wish and there is no right/wrong/good/bad way to be present in the space.
In my experience, the primary reason for most issues that people experience is due to repressed and suppressed emotions and what the mind does to avoid experiencing our feelings. This can cause anxiety (fear) and depression (anger) as well a host of physical issues, and a distorted perception of the world, the self and can create a sense of being a victim of life.
Together, we can explore your experiences, your perspective of the world all of which are unique to you, and find understanding and acceptance of what and you are.
Practice description
At present I am only offering online video counselling via Teams, FaceTime, which in my experience is equally as effective as face to face, and also means I am able to be available to a wider reach of people across the country.

I have a lot of of experience working with trauma and I am able to help you in examining and coming to terms with these experiences.
Below are some of the issues that I work with, but I am confident to work with what ever you want to bring to our sessions.

Each counselling session is once a week (same day and time online via Teams or Facetime or other) for 50 minutes.
The price of each counselling session is £70 each. If finances are an issue, let me know as I maybe able to offer a concession.
I can offer extra sessions (at the same cost per session) if you feel you need them. If you want to pay for a block of sessions this is acceptable as well.
If you wish to know more about me and the Person-Centred approach feel free to contact me.
