About me and my therapy practice
You may have difficult feelings, or issues that feel impossible to resolve, be struggling with relationships or feel stuck or have lost purpose or meaning. I offer a safe, confidential place for you to talk about whats going on for you.
There are points in our lives when we all need some extra help. I won’t give you advice but I will listen, helping you to understand yourself better and make positive changes in your life.
I describe myself as an ‘Integrative therapist’ which means I draw on different therapeutic tools and approaches to help you find your path towards more self-acceptance and to enjoy more connection to others and yourself.
I offer long and short term counselling depending on what's right for you and have worked with peoples experiencing many of life's challenges including:
• depression
• anxiety
• relationship issues
• bereavement
• work / life balance
• fertility, parenting and family
I am interested in the whole person, the role of mind and body. Before qualifying as a counsellor I completed a training in Shiatsu massage in 2004, with the Ki Kai Shiatsu School, www.kikaishiatsuschool.co.uk. I also qualified as a Baby Massage Instructor in 2009 with the International Association of Infant Massage.
I have also run courses in ‘Creative Writing for Well Being’ (writeupstuff.tumblr.com) and where appropriate I work with creative expression to support the counselling process

Nature and feeling connected to something bigger than ourselves can be a resource when our lives feel difficult or overwhelming.
If you would like to talk through working outdoors - the practicalities etc I am happy to have an initial telephone conversation. Please do get in touch if this is something you may be interested in.
