About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced BACP registered Integrative Psychotherapist and Counsellor practising in London and Suffolk.
Practice description
As an Integrative therapist I offer a tailored approach, adapting to fit the individual needs and circumstances of each client. I am trained to draw from a range of evidence based approaches, including mindfulness, existential, person centred, somatic and psychodynamic models.
My approach is warm, flexible and collaborative. I see therapy as a two-way relationship in which the therapist and client are partners. My primary focus is building a trusting therapeutic relationship where clients feel safe to explore whatever brings them to therapy.
I offer short, medium or long term work, depending on your circumstances and hopes for therapy.
My first session
If you are interested but unsure whether counselling and psychotherapy is right for you, or would like to ask any questions please feel free to get in touch. I offer an initial 15 minute telephone/video call free of charge to answer questions and get a sense of whether you'd like to book an initial session.
The initial session is opportunity to discuss what brings you to therapy, your hopes, and crucially whether you feel comfortable working together. If we decide to go ahead we will then agree logistics, such as frequency and time and take it from there.
If for any reason I’m not able to help, I always aim to offer alternative referral options.
