About me and my therapy practice

Hello,

I am an experienced integrative, relational psychotherapist and counsellor, passionate about helping my clients, individuals and couples work through their difficulties. My hope is that you'll feel heard and understood with a fresh perspective on how to cope better.

I work as a psychotherapist and counsellor have a BA Honours degree in Integrative Relational Psychotherapy & Counselling, and have worked in a busy NHS practice as well as within my own private practice.

Approach - The integrative part of my training allows more flexibility in being able to use different psychotherapy and counselling approaches to suit your needs, as an individual or as a couple. The relational approach means we work together in a considered and empathic way to ensure the best outcome for you.

I am able to guide and support you with effective techniques to help with anxiety, a negative mindset, unreal narratives and unhelpful behavioral patterns. Depending on what your issue may be, I hope to make some observations to allow for some reflection,  enabling the possibility of difference or choice if you feel stuck.  This may include how you talk to yourself, the language you use, your communication style, how kind or critical you are about yourself.  For couples, it's important to consider what's missing in the relationship, what is working between you and what isn't? What is present and what is past? What we hear compared to what has been said?  How have you interpreted what has been said?  Working towards communicating more effectively, voicing needs, wants, desires and what's possible to work on.
