About me and my therapy practice
I provide a compassionate, confidential and empathetic approach in a safe place for clients to work through difficulties they maybe experiencing.
Whether the reason for seeking counselling is due to addiction, depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, grief or low self esteem, I aim to support and guide clients, exploring negative blocks and beliefs that are holding clients back from leading fulfilling lives. Working together to challenge self defeating behaviour, identifying goals and increasing motivation to change.
The sessions are tailor made to meet the clients needs, calibrating various approaches. I adhere to the BACP code of ethics and I work with integrity and compassion.
I appreciate the courage it takes to seek a counsellor and the importance of the right therapeutic relationship. Therefore, I provide a free 15 minute telephone consultation prior to progressing to sessions. Depending on your needs, I provide short or long term therapy.
I do provide Skype sessions but a first initial session is required to be in person.
I am a qualified counsellor and a member of FDAP (Federation of Drug & Alcohol Practitioners). I am registering with BACP (British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy).
I have a Masters degree in Addiction Psychology & Counselling at London Southbank University. I also gained counselling qualications at certicate level from the University of Hertfordshire and Birkbeck University.
I trained and worked in a well established London Intensive Outpatient Clinic where I provided counselling support through one to one sessions, group work and workshops.
I have experience with working with individuals who suffer with depression, anxiety, various addictions, codependency and also family members who have been impacted by these issues.
