About me and my therapy practice
Although trained in Transactional Analysis I integrate other modalities and theories into my work, including current thinking around neurodiversity.
I work with adults and teenagers struggling with anxiety, depression, self-hard, trauma, personalty. disorders. I work in a very relational way meaning that the relationship between us is them most important aspect and where, I believe, the healing takes place. This means, that depending on what you are bringing to therapy, our work can be short or long.
My practice is based in my cabin in the garden. It offers a secure, welcoming, private place to come and share your feelings and to understand what might be getting in the way of you living a fulfilled and happy life, and to change that.
Practice description
I am a relational psychotherapist. I work creatively to really try and understand what is going on for you. Sometimes that means working 'face to face' and talking, and other times it might mean using art or objects to express yourself to deepen both our understandings.
Sessions are available face to face or via Zoom.
My first session
The first session is your opportunity to tell me what is going on for you and to check out me and my office and see if you feel OK enough to work with me. It also gives me an opportunity to check that I will be the right fit for you too.
