About me and my therapy practice
Welcome! If you are looking for an experienced, understanding therapist I can offer you a safe, confidential space to explore any difficulties that may be on your mind.
Maybe you are experiencing a crisis, a major change in your life circumstances, or feel anxious, depressed or stuck. Perhaps childhood issues are impacting on your life now, or you are struggling with relationships, divorce or separation, trauma, abuse or bereavement. Whatever you want to discuss, we can talk openly and confidentially.
I am a Person-Centred and Intergrative counsellor, which means that I base my work on creating a relationship of deep understanding, acceptance and empathy. You are the expert on how you think and feel, and together we can work to help you discover a sense of self and a way of being that feels right for you.
I also use CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy) which supports talking therapy, excellent for work on self-esteem, OCD, perfectionism, low mood and more.
I promote breath work, body work including Internal Family Systems (IFS), yoga and meditation.
I offer an introductory session for £40 where we can meet and ensure we both feel happy that we can work well together.
Sessions are £60 thereafter. Most people book 6 sessions initially, and usually continue with more after. Feel free to ask me any questions beforehand, and I look forward to hearing from you.

Practice description
If you would like to try therapy in nature we can walk and talk together in beautiful woodlands and across landscapes.
Nature therapy (also known as eco-therapy) gives us the opportunity to work with the natural world in a conscious way.
Our senses receive information from our natural environment which helps to calm our nervous system and mind. Think about how you might feel uplifted at a beautiful sight, or relaxed as sunlight warms your skin. There are many unconscious effects of being in nature too, such as breathing in fresh air and the chemicals that plants release, which research shows boosts our mood and wellbeing.
Movement also releases hormones that stimulate feel-good feelings, and can release tension and emotion in our muscles, fascia and organs.
Don't worry about being cold or wet, we dress for the weather and in woodland we can remain sheltered. I bring hot drinks too!
