About me and my therapy practice
Searching for a counsellor can be a daunting experience. One of the biggest challenges can be knowing who to choose and what style of counselling to try, there are so many!
Most importantly, find a therapist who makes you feel at ease to enable you to explore your most private problems in a safe, non-judgemental way. Counselling is a wonderful opportunity to put yourself first, something we all have a right to do.
I've been practicing for 15 years providing counselling and psychotherapy to individuals and couples working with issues such as:
Anxiety, depression, ADHD, loss, low self-esteem, family issues, stress, trauma, relationships, and many more.
I have a high standard of training in a variety of modalities which allows me to integrate my approach. This simply means I'm able to tailor the therapy to suit each individual client.
I am not limited to one specific area of difficulty but I have undertaken additional training in subjects I'm passionate about meaning that I specialise in the following:
• Anxiety
• Grief, loss, bereavement
• Infertility
• Fertility treatment (IVF, IUI, Surrogacy, Donor Treatment, Implications Counselling)
• Relationship Counselling
I have private practices in Leicestershire and London where I provide long and short term counselling and psychotherapy in person, online, or by telephone. This means that I can provide support to you wherever in the world you may be located.
I am also a registered infertility counsellor, accredited with the ‘British Infertility Counselling Association’ (BICA) enabling me to provide implications counselling sessions in line with HFEA guidelines. These are focused on exploring the impact of donor infertility treatment. I'm also trained in surrogacy counselling and can provide therapeutic support to surrogates and intended parents wanting to use surrogacy as a form of treatment. If you are unsure whether I can help you, please contact me and I’ll be glad to discuss your needs in more detail.
