About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified and highly experienced registered counsellor for adults and young people based at Bolster Moor, Huddersfield.
I value individuality and work with everyone to explore their feelings, thoughts and relationships. Through exploring past and present difficulties you will be empowered to make positive changes and live a more fulfilling life.
I have 15 years’ experience of working in mental health, for the National Childbirth Trust, for Women’s Aid, and charities. I have taught health and social care, and counselling in a further education environment. My counselling experience includes working for the Samaritans, Open Door Youth Counselling Service, and for Women’s Centres, as well as private practice.
I currently work in private practice using a person-centred integrative approach which means I can use different approaches and techniques to meet your needs.
I specialise in anxiety, depression, domestic violence, abuse, stress, bereavement, childhood issues, relationship problems, and low self-esteem and confidence.
