I will conduct an assessment before we start with your sessions. The initial 30-minute session is free of charge.

About me and my therapy practice
My practice is rooted in the Humanistic approach to therapy, which emphasizes growth potential over symptoms or diagnoses. This therapy style encourages individuals to look inward and make choices that are right for them. My work lies in validating the human experience rather than pathologising it. My passion is in helping people discover their inner strengths and potential.
My perspective is that vitality and joyfulness is a potential of our human nature and that what hinders it must be understood before it can be overcome. For that reason, cultivating self awareness is paramount, and therapy has proven to help develop this transformative skill. Seeing the truth about ourselves can sometimes be painful and receiving emotional support while developing resilience makes the difference.
The bed rock of my work is in helping people develop a relationship with themselves without which the understanding aquired in therapy is not productive. Knowledge is often the source of our issues and so combininig that with the level of self-care that supports humility and promotes compassion is invaluable, and frankly indicative of sustainable change.
I have qualifications and long standing experience in complimentary modalities such as life coaching, yoga and meditation and addiction recovery. These give me a holistic perspective on your experiences which helps me be more effective in supporting you towards to change you seek.
Practice description
If you're here because you want to makes some changes in your life, you're in the right place! You might feel trapped in your job or dissatisfied in your relationship. Perhaps you've lost your zest for life, feeling down and uninspired, or things aren't working out as you want them to. You may even feel disillusioned after losing track of what makes you happy. Therapy is a great place to explore these feelings, and I may be able to help you. If you can find time to meet with me weekly, virtually or in person (in London), I can support you in reflecting on your circumstances and exploring new perspectives.
The space is secure, confidential and available for as long as you need. We'll explore your challenges and find ways to support your return to happiness. As a trained trauma therapist (focus on adverse childhood experiences) I can help you overcome defeating beliefs and conditioning. The aim will be to stabilise, integrate traumatic events - create safety.
My first session
Initially, we'll discuss your needs and reasons for seeking help, and address any questions you might have. If we decide to work together, we'll outline your short and long-term goals to determine if you prefer limited sessions or an open-ended approach.
I will conduct an assessment over the course of a few sessions (could be up to session 4) before we decide together on the focus of your therapy.
