About me and my therapy practice
I can provide a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space. My aim is to gain an understanding of any difficulties you may be experiencing and to work together with you, to develop further insight, and to make any changes that you would like to make.
I am a predominantly Person-centred counsellor and believe that we are equal in the counselling relationship. I am client led and work at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I can also work with you using an assimilative integrative approach, whereby I can incorporate techniques and interventions from other therapeutic approaches to meet your individual needs.
I began counselling training in 2013 and I am qualified to Masters level, with experience in a variety of counselling settings: online and telephone counselling for a national counselling service, counselling service in an organisation supporting women, drug and alcohol counselling, children's hospice, bereavement, sexual abuse, and private practice.
Concessionary rates are available for counselling students, and people on a low income, please contact me for further information.

About me and my therapy practice
I can offer supervision at any stage of your professional development, whether you are a trainee counsellor, newly qualified or well established in your counselling practice.
My aim is to create a supportive environment and to work collaboratively with you to nurture, enhance and develop your counselling practice, consider and maintain ethical practice, develop insight and awareness, explore impact of client work for supervisee, and to ensure client’s needs are being met.
I work within the Hawkins and Shohet Seven-eyed model of supervision, which focuses on seven aspects of supervision and allows for a flexible and holistic perspective to supervision, whilst creating an opportunity to focus on therapeutic and supervisory relationships and facilitate the development of awareness.
Practice description
I am qualified to master’s level and began my training in 2013, I am trained integratively, adopting a primarily person centred approach to counselling, drawing from aspects of CBT and incorporating psychoeducation into my practice. I have trained in remote therapy, and I have both remote and face to face counselling experience. I have in a wide range of experience in a variety of counselling services, including counselling for a national helpline service, alcohol and substance misuse service, for an organisation supporting women in the local community, counselling for a charity supporting adults who experienced CSA, for a children’s hospice and community bereavement charity and I also work in private practice. I have experience working for short term time limited organisations and for services offering longer term counselling.
