About me and my therapy practice
I've worked as a therapist since 2009, having trained after leaving university in counselling and youth work. I have worked with children, young people and adults and can adapt my working style to the needs of each age group.
I offer therapy from the age of 10 upwards.
I strongly believe in the relationship between client and therapist as well as working hard to ensure that the therapy you receive is according to your needs and the way you feel comfortable working.
I work in the Eastleigh area. I can offer a flexible service, offering appointments during the day and evenings. I also work on line or on the telephone.
Practice description
I offer both long and short time therapy according to your need. Having continued training alongside my years of experience in the therapy room, I can call on a lot of different ways of working (from creative play to CBT to dream exploration), depending on your wishes.
My first session
The first session will be an assessment session - a chance to get to know each other, find out what has brought you to counselling and to ensure I am the right service for you. If you chose long term (open ended) therapy, we will have a review every six weeks to check progress.

About me and my therapy practice
Individual or group supervision for therapists working with adults or CYP from 10 years up.
Practice description
After 15 years as a therapist I decided to train as a supervisor. I felt this was the right time as I have a wealth of knowledge – both learned academically and lived in the therapy room – from many years in the field. I chose a course which was both classroom learning based and experiential, and undertook the ACT Diploma in Counselling Supervision (SCQF Level 9). It is a course with a holistic approach, training in a number of models, including: Hawkins & Shohet’s 7 Eyed Model; Inskipp & Proctor’s Normative, Formative, Restorative Model; Page & Wosket’s Cyclical Model.
The frequency of supervision I recommend is in line with the BACP recommendations, and based upon the level of experience of the supervisee, the number of supervisees and the number of clients being worked with.
