About me and my therapy practice
As a Integrative CBT and EMDR Therapist I work with mild to moderate mental health disorders and have experience working with addiction, depression, anxiety, OCD, POCD, stress, phobias, abuse, self-worth, self-esteem and self-confidence. I have a particular interest in working with trauma and am currently seeking to specialise in working with children.
My current clients are aged between 8 and 65, and have a range of reasons for seeking therapy, from sex addiction, low self-esteem, relationship issues, autism, death anxiety, alcohol dependency and work stress.
I have a wealth of life-skills and have been actively involved in business management for over 20 years; with a focus on motivation and mentoring. Within our relationship, you can expect from me a non-judgemental attitude, compassion and understanding with a level of challenge coordinated to help encourage meaningful change.
I am aware and welcoming towards the LGBTQIA communities and promise a respectful and non-judgemental attitude.
As with all therapists, I engage in monthly supervision to help enhance and regulate my practice. I am also a qualified supervisor, and help maintain the standards of high quality therapy through supervising the practice of others in the profession.
I am a member of the BACP, BABCP and COSCA and work within the Ethical frameworks therein. I am fully insured to practice and am enrolled with Disclosure Scotland's PVG Scheme. All certificates, insurances and qualifications are always available to my clients.
I currently work from Stonehouse in Lanarkshire and Glasgow. Home visits and telephone counselling are available on request.

About me and my therapy practice
I am a BABCP Accredited Supervisor and have completed the COSCA Supervision in Practice Training.
As a qualified CBT and EMDR therapist, I offer supervision from a CBT perspective but can reflect and adapt supervision integratively across several modalities. I am a challenging supervisor, but challenging in a healthy collaborative way which encourages creativity and self-discovery. Ethics, boundaries and risk form an important part of the supervision process, and I work with Supervisees to help increase and enhance their knowledge in these key areas. I am open to sharing CBT Tools and Techniques and encourage using a whiteboard to release creative flare.
I have experience working with CBT and Person Centred Therapists and with Students. Having a wealth of experience in business and being involved in several board rooms, I can offer a focus on private practice, structure and organisational context.
I am also qualified in EMDR, Hypnotherapy, CYP and Neurofeedback. I hold accreditation with the BACP, BABCP and NCPS. I am well-informed in assisting with accreditation and supporting professional development.
My current rate for supervision is £65 per hour. I encourage an initial meeting without obligation before committing to a supervisory relationship.
If you would like to discuss your supervision needs, you are welcome to email or call me also.
