About me and my therapy practice
My Supervision practice brings experience from my clinical work as a qualified and accredited (BACP) Integrative Counsellor (PGDIP & MSc in Integrative Counselling, Bristol University) also working with EMDR (Accredited with EMDR Association, UK) and clinical hypnotherapy.
I am experienced and qualified to offer students and qualified professionals supervision and currently offer both f2f and online options.
I have experience of working in various roles including hospice and palliative care settings, cancer charities, with first responders, mental health settings, GP practices and private practice. I have also worked as a Counselling Co-ordinator and as a Visiting Lecturer which provides awareness of trainee needs.
I co-ordinate an EMDR peer group for qualified and practicing EMDR therapists in Lancashire and Cumbria.
Prior to working in therapeutic settings, I worked in academia in the field of neuroendocrinology and stress-based research which adds a flavour to my approach.
Practice description
Supervision provides an opportunity to reflect on and discuss varied aspects of your professional practice and development.
I take a collaborative relational approach and predominately work with both an Integrative Developmental Model (Stoltenberg and McNeil) and The Seven-Eyed Model (Hawkin and Shohet).
My approach is aligned with trainees and qualified professionals who work with Integrative, Pluralistic, Humanistic and Person-Centred Approaches.
My current fees for qualified supervisees are £70 for 60 minutes or £85 for 90 minutes.
For students, I offer supervision on a fortnightly basis. I offer 60 minute sessions each fortnight at £50per hour.
