About me and my therapy practice
Welcome. My name is Marek and I'm a Psychotherapist and Clicial Sexologist. I specialise in providing compassionate support and guidance for individuals facing a variety of challenges. As a Psychodynamic Psychotherapist and Sex & Relationship therapist, I am dedicated to helping you navigate through life's complexities with empathy and expertise.
My areas of expertise include depression and loss, managing life transitions, addressing issues stemming from childhood, exploring sexuality and sexual identity, and enhancing relationship intimacy. With a deep commitment to understanding and supporting the LGBTQ+ community, I offer a safe space for individuals grappling with issues such as coming out, internalised homophobia, self-esteem concerns, and other psychological and social struggles.

About me and my therapy practice
I provide clinical supervision to therapists looking to deepen their therapeutic skills and to work more actively with their own vulnerabilities in the service of the work.
My approach is collaborative and relational, focusing on fostering insight, self-awareness, and growth in supervisees. I believe in creating a safe space where supervisees can explore their clinical work, challenges, and personal experiences openly and without judgment.
My supervision style is integrative, drawing from my core training in psychodynamic theory while also incorporating elements from various modalities to meet the unique needs of each supervisee.
Practice description
With over a decade of experience as a psychotherapist and two years as a clinical supervisor, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to my practice.
My core training in psychodynamic theory provides a solid foundation for my supervisory work, allowing me to help therapists delve deeper into the unconscious dynamics at play in their clinical work.
Additionally, I hold a postgraduate diploma in clinical sexology, giving me a unique perspective when supervising therapists working with issues related to sexuality and intimacy.
I offer supervision to therapists working with individuals, couples, and polycules, and I am committed to supporting supervisees in their professional development and growth.
My supervision sessions are tailored to each supervisee's needs and may include case discussion, role-play, experiential exercises, and theoretical exploration. I believe in the importance of ongoing learning and development, and I am dedicated to providing a supportive and nurturing environment where supervisees can thrive.
My first session
In the first session, I aim to establish a strong therapeutic alliance with my supervisee and gain an understanding of their goals, expectations, and areas of focus.
This session serves as an opportunity for us to discuss the supervisory process, establish boundaries and confidentiality agreements, and explore any specific concerns or questions the supervisee may have.
