About me and my therapy practice
Life can be hard, lonely, feel cruel or empty. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed or stuck. Therapy can ease your suffering, enable release and grant insight. It can help you cope more easily and move forward.
I can offer you a safe, caring space to be heard and will explore with you, without judgement, the things that feel difficult for you.
I am an experienced, professionally qualified counsellor and my approach is integrative-relational, which means I draw on different theoretical models to support my work.
I believe past events and relationships impact you; they influence how you view yourself and others and can cause destructive thoughts and patterns of behaviour. I also believe that the relationship between you and your therapist is fundamental to enable change.
A warm, respectful, trusting relationship will help you to feel safe enough to examine painful, difficult issues. It is a relationship that can enable you to expand your awareness, gain greater insight into yourself and your relationship with others and find new ways forward.
Practice description
I work in private practice and my consulting room is in Kew, minutes from Kew Gardens station.
