About me and my therapy practice
Hi, thanks for visiting my profile.
There are a lot of us therapists out here, so below is some more information about me, how I work and the process in general.
A bit about me...
I am a qualified psychotherapist with over 8 years experience as a therapist, and 17 overall in the mental health field. I have an MSc in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy and am UKCP accredited.
I work primarily in-person in Thame (OX9) and North Oxford (OX2), and also see some clients online. I offer short and long-term counselling and psychotherapy to adults.
People come to see me when they are experiencing a challenging time in their life. This may relate to: past difficulties, troubled relationships, feeling disconnected from self, work-related stress, concerns for the future, or a sense that life simply isn't as as they want it to be.
Practice description
How I work...
My approach is warm, empathic and non-judgemental.
I offer a confidential space in which to build a trusting, supportive relationship where you can explore the issues, dilemmas and concerns you are facing.
I do not offer advice or solutions; aiming instead to work with you, at your own pace, to think about what is happening for you and the personal growth and change you want.
My theoretical framework is based on Relational Transactional Analysis (TA). TA is an accessible humanistic psychology that offers a set of maps to help us navigate the world alongside others. Some of these maps address relationships and communication, others focus on our psychological make-up to help understand our internal world, and more still look at the systems and context in which we live – families, organisations and cultures.

What happens next?
If you think we might be able to work together, send me an email and we can organise an initial conversation.
In my reply I will be clear about my current availability, as an essential first step is diary alignment.
If logistics/times work, I offer a free half-hour zoom call to find out some more about you, what you are looking for and to tell you how I work. Essentially, we are looking to establish if this might work.
