About me and my therapy practice

I imagine you are viewing this page because you have reached a certain point in life; a point where you want to see a change, a point of struggling perhaps, or questioning, or both. Perhaps you are experiencing anxiety, feeling down or stuck, living with the effects of unresolved historical or recent trauma. Perhaps you struggle to feel at home in yourself, dealing with issues of self worth and asking where you belong?

I offer a welcoming, accepting space to address your current circumstances, and if you wish, how they are informed by your past experiences and where you come from. My invitation is also that our sessions become an exploration of purpose, inspiration and values, to help you find a sustainable direction forward.

I offer short- and long-term emotional and psychological support. In addition, I assist in the general pursuit of self-awareness and self-care. When appropriate, I incorporate somatic approaches to help you deepen your connection to self and stay with your own rhythm of change.

My areas of expertise include anxiety and trauma (incl. sexual trauma), questions around identity, gender and sexuality, as well as issues of relationship and intimacy. I have worked extensively with people from diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds, the LGBTQ+ community and those living with HIV. I also have experience working with neurodiversity.

"Behind your image, below your words, above your thoughts, the silence of another world waits." John O’Donohu
