About me and my therapy practice
Hello and welcome. As an experienced therapist my approach is Integrative; this means the therapy I offer is tailored to you drawing on different types of therapy to meet your specific needs and expectations.
In the therapy sessions you and I will focus on your experience of the here and now, how you relate to others, the world around you and how this impacts you. We then together draw on past experiences and relationships and look at how your patterns of behaviour can be explored and adapted to help you feel more at ease.
You may have experienced a trauma (historical or recent) a bereavement, anxiety or relationship breakdown, you could be coming to terms with addiction or just need to make sense of life. Whatever you are experiencing that keeps you from feeling a sense of calm, the therapy I offer is a way for you to see and experience life differently.
Embarking on a therapeutic journey provides a space to think, to speak, to feel and to be heard. My therapeutic space provides you with autonomy and confidence to hear your words, experience your feelings and begin your own independent journey to a more fulfilled and resilient existence.
I offer a professional, non-judgemental, empathic counselling relationship. I believe successful therapy is in relationship between the client and the therapist where there is trust, openness and the opportunity to explore your whole self in a space where you can feel safe and brave to talk.
I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming your life challenges.
