Availability

I have extensive experience working with adults and young people and currently have availability to take on new clients.

I work in Downley (High Wycombe) and at Kyan Clinic (Marlow).

About me and my therapy practice

Are there things in your life that make you feel anxious, stressed, unhappy, scared or out of control? Are you feeling lonely and isolated or unable to cope? Could you do with support and someone independent to talk to?

I offer a confidential, safe and supportive space to allow you to explore your thoughts and feelings. I will be actively engaged and will listen without judging you or the choices you have made in your life.  I work alongside you to gain a clearer understanding of your issues, identify your needs and goals and develop strategies to support you to make positive changes that work best for you.

Practice description

I offer both face-to-face and online sessions.

After your initial consultation (free), subsequent counselling sessions cost £50. Concessions are available for anyone facing financial difficulty and cases can be discussed on an individual basis.

By prior agreement, sessions usually take place on a weekly / fortnightly basis with each session lasting for 50 minutes.

I also offer short psychoeducation workshops on Managing Anxiety, Better Sleep and Building Resilience. Please contact me on rachel@rdickinsoncounselling.co.uk for further information.

My first session

I offer a short initial consultation (approximately 20 minutes) as an opportunity for us to meet, for you to find out more about counselling, what I offer and how we would work together.  You can tell me about yourself, ask any questions that you may have and discuss your specific issues and needs.

You can then decide if you feel that counselling is right for you and if you would like to take things further.
