About me and my therapy practice
I will offer you warmth, care and respect as our starting point together and from there, encourage creative collaboration, free of any judgments, placing your journey and improved wellbeing at the heart of the process.
Whatever has prompted you to seek counselling now and no matter how stuck or overwhelmed you might feel, counselling provides a safe space for you to enquire about yourself and deepen your understanding of what is causing you difficulty or unwanted suffering.
Compared to our every day interactions, counselling involves a different way of talking and a different way of hearing. It provides the opportunity to examine what needs repairing, what needs re-framing, what needs discarding and what needs nurturing.
Wherever we begin, I do believe that a supported exploration of our relationship with our “self” can eventually lead to critical insights which in turn promotes healing and a greater sense of wholeness to move forward in life.
I have always been fascinated by the human condition and because there are many different ways in which it can be explored and better understood, I chose to train as an Integrative Psychotherapist. An integrative approach allows me to draw on the ideas and techniques from a range of therapy models, meeting a variety of individual needs, interests or preferences.
My background has given me a respect for diversity and a sincere commitment to furthering a positive culture of equality for all.
Keeping Nature in Mind
Outside of London, I continue to develop a practice that advances the therapeutic use of nature. Whenever appropriate or possible I welcome the opportunity to work outdoors incorporating the natural world as an active partner in the therapeutic process.
Practice description
I provide short term or long term counselling in my welcoming therapy room in central Greenwich, SE10 and online therapy. I am based just moments from the entrance to Greenwich Park which also allows me to offer walk and talk sessions or a more focused, nature based therapy experience.
My first session
I provide an introductory session at a reduced rate of £60. This session will enable you to find out more about me, how I work but most importantly, for you to decide if you feel I am a good "therapist fit" for you and your needs.
