As a dedicated and experienced therapist, I provide both short- and long-term therapy tailored to your individual needs, with regular check-ins to ensure our work together is effective and meaningful.

Conducting therapy online enables you to engage in a safe and comfortable environment—whether at home or another private location—making it more convenient for many.

About me and my therapy practice

I am delighted to offer neurodivergent-affirming one-to-one therapy to adult clients across the UK.I specialise in supporting autistic and ADHD clients (both diagnosed and undiagnosed), and I have extensive experience addressing a wide range of issues including anxiety, family difficulties, stress, bereavement, loss, depression, and identity concerns. Many people come to therapy seeking change or a space for self-reflection, and it’s common for new issues to emerge as we progress. All of this is welcomed and embraced as part of the therapeutic journey.

After a fulfilling career in archaeology and yoga, I retrained as a psychotherapist, combining my professional training with rich life experiences. Having experienced therapy from both sides of the room, I deeply understand its profound impact. With over 10 years of personal therapy, both individual and group, I bring valuable insights into the client experience.

I bring a wealth of knowledge to my practice, informed by both my academic background and personal journey. I hold a Master's degree in Psychotherapeutic Practice, choosing to focus on ADHD in therapy for my dissertation.

I have extensive experience in various settings, including the NHS as a bereavement counsellor, working with Women’s Aid to support survivors of domestic abuse, and serving as a school counsellor. This diverse background enriches my compassionate and comprehensive approach to therapy.

Practice description

Currently, I practise online from a tranquil room in West Wales, where , between clients, I often watch red kites swooping outside my window. Many of my clients are neurodivergent, a focus of mine due to my own ADHD diagnosis and my commitment as a neurodiversity ally. I hold a post-qualification certificate in counselling children and young people, along with a BWY yoga teaching certification. I am dedicated to continuous professional development, regularly updating my knowledge through training, reading, and engaging with personal stories and evidence-based research.

Some of my recent professional development includes:

• Working Online

• Relational Depth

• Integrating the Body—Neuroscience

• Pluralism Conference

• Intersectionality and Social Change

• Exploring Trauma

• Celebrating Neurodiversity

• Neurodiversity-Affirming Therapy with Autism and ADHD Clients

My priority is to support you through a warm, non-judgmental relationship where you are welcome to come as you are. At your own pace, you can share your thoughts and feelings, and together we can explore how they impact you within the broader context of your life. We will also work collaboratively to identify pathways that resonate with you for positive change.

My first session

The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and see if we are a good fit for working together. Online appointments are conducted via Zoom, and I will send you a link prior to our meeting. I encourage you to find a private and comfortable space where you can feel at ease to share. Bring along anything that enhances your comfort, such as a cup of tea, a footstool, or even a pet.

We will begin with a few minutes to gather your personal details, followed by an exploration of what has brought you to therapy at this time. At the end of the session, we can discuss whether we feel aligned to work together, and if so, schedule our next session. If we determine that we are not a fit, I am happy to signpost you to other services and practitioners as needed.
