About me and my therapy practice

Welcome to my page, I specialise in counselling woman.

Life can be tough, especially when sailing the waves of undiagnosed or diagnosed ADHD. There are times when we need a private dedicated space to be able to share how we are feeling, we can then slow down the internal or external busyness. We are then able to reflect and process what’s happening in our life now, or difficulties we have experienced in our past.

We are the only ones who know what it is like to of walked our own paths, and know how it feels to be us. This is why counselling can help. It offers a non-judgmental space that centres entirely on you.

Kindness and respect are at the forefront of how I work, as I truly believe only one a person is heard can a person begin to heal.

Practice description

I have worked with woman of all ages, from all walks of life in private practice.

As an Integrative Counsellor, with fourteen-year post experience. I have seen that Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness and Integrative Therapy is very supportive for ADHD people.

As a ADHD person myself, I am aware that many of us are great at reflection, and problem solving. We can think of many different ideas and avenues for self healing. The issues can come when the catalytic insights pop out of our mind as quickly as they enter into our mind. The solutions to our problems get lost in an array of unused information swirling around our busy brains.

So how can counselling help?

Having a dedicated space to explore your thoughts, feelings and life experiences every week prioritises your well being when life runs away with itself.  Writing what you have learnt in the counselling sessions in a journal, or in your own preferred format, is the key into making these insights concrete, and pragmatic, so they are helpful in everyday situations.

I am a naturally open minded individual, with a strong emphasis on being kind and respectful.

I welcome all woman, with all beliefs and values with open arms.
