About me and my therapy practice

You might feel a low ache beneath your days, the whisper of Is this it? A distance between the life you’re living and the one you imagined. Other times, it’s undeniable—a relationship ending, the world shifting, the familiar falling away. A discomfort you can’t outrun.

You don’t have to stay stuck. Change begins with understanding. And understanding begins when you’re truly heard.

Therapy isn’t about fixing you—because you were never broken. It’s about reconnecting you to yourself, quieting the noise, and making space for something different, that includes possibility and potential.

Do any of these sound familiar?

• You’re in a relationship that lacks depth or nourishment.

• You want children but are facing unexpected challenges.

• You feel stuck in a career that no longer feels like yours.

• You feel disconnected from the richness of life. You are overwhelmed by global politics, the well-being of the planet

• You’re navigating the complexities of a blended family, far from the vision you once held.

• You’re carrying the weight of others’ expectations—and your own.

• A persistent, underlying sense that things aren’t right.

These experiences hold grief, longing, uncertainty. They may also bring a quiet but persistent anxiety—an ongoing tension, a sense of waiting for something to shift.

How Therapy Can Help

• Understand where you are, what you long for, and what’s possible when life doesn’t look the way you expected.

• Ease anxiety & overwhelm –

• Heal relationship struggles – Explore patterns, set boundaries, and build deeper, more fulfilling connections.

• Move through grief & disappointment – Process loss—not just of people, but of dreams, identities, and the life you imagined.

Therapy is a place to be seen and heard, to understand the deeper stories behind your feelings, and to find ways to live more peacefully alongside them.

Practice description

How We’ll Work Together

I offer online sessions as well as in-person therapy in Brighton. My approach is warm, engaged, and attuned. I listen deeply. I challenge gently.

Therapy isn’t just about talking—it’s about noticing, feeling, and uncovering what has been waiting for your attention.

A Space for Your Story

I invite you to bring your whole self—the parts you celebrate and the parts you’ve learned to hide. Through this work, you can move out of shame, release the belief that something must be wrong with me, and begin to see yourself with clarity and compassion.

An Inclusive, Aware Practice

My work is LGBTQ+ affirming and rooted in an awareness of the systems that shape our lives—whether patriarchy, racism, capitalism, ableism, or other forces that disconnect us from ourselves and each other. Whoever you are, whatever your story, you are welcome here.

My Experience & Approach

I have over a decade of experience working with people navigating the complexities of being human—not just their pain, but their joy.

• Advanced Diploma in the Application of the Arts in Therapy and Education

• Diploma in Integrative Counselling

• Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy

Together, we might explore your past and how it shapes your present. We might notice how anxiety shows up in your body and find ways to soften its grip.

Working soulfully means working with all of you—mind, body, and soul. Soul speaks in whispers, in images, in hunches, in the song stuck in your head. These fragments may not make sense at first, but they often hold something vital.

Whether you need a few sessions to unburden yourself or a longer journey to shift deep patterns, we will work together—with care, curiosity, and honesty.

My first session

What will it be like?

We might begin with what brings you to therapy—loss, confusion, an ache you can’t quite name. It’s okay not to have the words yet. Therapy helps you find them. No need to prepare or plan. Honestly, come as you are.

Next Steps

We can arrange a time for an initial session either online or in person in Brighton. An initial session is a paid for 50-minute session. You will get a sense of what therapy with me is like. If you wish to proceed, we can meet weekly at the same time in a slot reserved for you.

Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions, large or small.

If you would like to know more about my approach before you book a session, I offer a fifteen-minute Zoom or phone call for free at a mutually arranged time.

Practice description

I offer online sessions as well as in person sessions in Brighton. I offer a therapeutic space where you will be able to talk in confidence and have the time to just be with your feelings and thoughts. I come with warmth, empathy and gentle challenge.

A space for your Story

I invite you to bring your whole story — the parts you’re proud of and the parts you’ve been taught to hide. The benefit of this work is the freedom to see yourself differently — to shift out of shame, release that sense of “something must be wrong with me,” and begin to understand yourself with compassion and clarity.

Inclusivity

My practice is LGBTQ+ affirming and rooted in an awareness of structural oppressions — racism, patriarchy, ableism, the class system, capitalism, and the systems that harm both people and the Earth.

My Qualifications

I have over a decade’s experience working with clients who bring their unique stories, agonies, pains and more often than you think, their joys.

Advanced Diploma in the Application of the Arts in Therapy and Education

Diploma in Integrative Counselling

Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy

We might start to look at your past and how it might be impacting you now. We might begin to notice what is happening in your body, so if you are anxious we can look at ways of bringing your anxiety to more tolerable levels.

Working soulfully is working in a way that includes all of you, mind, body and soul. Soul can look like the things we often overlook, whispers, daydreams, images, night dreams, hunches, whims, the song rattling around your head. It might not make sense but it will often have something deeply meaningful to say.

Perhaps you will need a few sessions to get something off your chest. Perhaps you want to look at how you are in relationships and will need more sessions to fathom that out and see lasting change. However long you want to come, we will be working together, collaboratively, with your best interests in heart and mind.
