I have a keen interest in relationship dynamics, especially mother-daughter attachment and women's personal growth and development.

Practice description
I offer short-term and long-term therapy and work from a safe, private space within my home. I currently offer online and telephone sessions, and can be flexible to visit clients at home or in the workplace.
My first session
I offer a free initial 15 minute chat to discuss what is needed from the therapeutic relationship.

I have over 10 years experience of working as a counsellor in a number of settings including charities, EAPs, corporate organisations and healthcare trusts and I aim to bring this knowledge to my supervisory work. I have extensive experience in maintaining professional boundaries, managing risk and client confidentiality.

As a qualified clinical supervisor (CPCAB level 6 certificate in therapeutic supervision), I work with trainee and qualified counsellors using an integrated approach.
My work is guided by Hawkins' and Shohets' 'Seven-Eyed' process model of supervision which focuses on: the client, what and how they present; exploration of the strategies and interventions used; the dynamics of the counselling relationship; your development as a counsellor and the interpersonal relational experience between supervisor and supervisee. The wider context in which counselling and supervision take place, including culture, difference and diversity are also considered throughout the process.
I offer in-person and online supervision sessions and have availability throughout the week and weekends.
