About me and my therapy practice
I am a Masters Qualified BACP Registered Counsellor and Psychotherapist working online throughout the UK.
As a therapist I help individuals talk about their feelings, think about their choices and help them to achieve positive changes in their lives through the counselling process. I use an integrative model of counselling & psychotherapy which involves a wide range of counselling theories such as psychodynamic and person-centred therapy. The process of exploration which we will undertake together will help you achieve greater insight and understanding of your problems. It will help you understand yourself better and help you find solutions to resolve or cope with your situation. During the therapy session I will encourage you to talk about your life, events, emotions, feelings, ways of thinking and patterns of behaviour. Whilst listening carefully and without judgement I will encourage your thinking to help you to see things more clearly or challenge you to see things in a different way. In addition to working in private practice at Therapy UK, I have also worked as a Counsellor and Psychotherapist for Bradford Bereavement Support and Bradford Counselling Services. I hold a Masters Degree in Psychotherapy and Counselling from the University of Leeds and have also guest lectured to psychotherapy students at this university. My fees are £75 for a 1 hour long counselling session. You probably have many questions and thoughts at this stage so please feel free to contact me.
