About me and my therapy practice
It all begins with relationships, our very existence depends on it. Which is why my focus as a psychotherapist is to build on the relationship that you have with yourself and those that you deem important to you.
The way that you feel about yourself matters, it impacts your life choices, how you cope with difficulty and how you face adversity.
I specialise in helping my clients to heal from emotional trauma from difficult relationships, whether that is childhood experiences, narcissistic abuse or other relationship difficulties.
As an integrative trauma-informed practitioner, I'm experienced in helping my clients to move past feeling stuck or fearful about relationships. This might mean looking at how past experiences are impacting you in the here and now, using a solution focused approach, or using behavioural techniques, such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT).
You do not have to let past experiences define you, but you can use this self awareness to develop, grow and become resilient and empowered to make the best decision for you.
If you are ready to make the commitment to learning more about yourself and implementing real long-lasting change, contact me today to arrange your free telephone consultation.
I'm a mental health advocate and passionate about teaching my clients the importance of wellbeing and self care.
I'm available to work online or have limited spaces in St Albans City Centre.
You can visit my website to find out more about me and how I work.
I look forward to hearing from you.

Practice description
Limited availability for In Person Sessions in St Albans.
My first session
The first session is for us to get to know each other and make a collaborative plan of what you are hoping to achieve from therapy.
We may cover some of this briefly in our initial telephone consultation, but the first session is more detailed.
The first session can feel quite daunting if you've never experienced therapy before, but I assure you that the first session is similar to a relaxed conversation.
I do not expect you to know all of the answers and there are no awkward silences!
If you get stuck with what to say, I'll ask some relevant questions that will help you along, but mostly people find that the time passes much quicker than anticipated.
It's also a great opportunity for you to ask me any questions that you have.
