Are you having personal struggles?
Life can be challenging at times. You might be hurting, in pain and scared and have no idea who to trust. You are not alone. Whatever worries you about your psychological health, as a trained psychotherapist and counsellor I can help you to make sense of your experiences, be more alive, find your meaning and reclaim your life. Our work together can help you to make long term changes to your emotional wellbeing and relationships.
I work from an integrative perspective, combining existential- phenomenology with psychoanalytic principles according to the needs of each individual. This means through dialogue, active engagement and collaboration we will assess and examine the issue(s) that concern you in a holistic way. We will pay particular attention to your thoughts and feelings taking into account your past experiences, current circumstances, and anxieties about the future. The aim is to tailor therapy around your individual needs and difficulties to make sense of whatever is causing you suffering and distress to enable you to move to a space where you can navigate through different modes of being and relating that is healthy and empowering.
I offer Counselling and Psychotherapy in Central London W2, NW1, E1 areas. I work with clients on a short-term and long-term basis. What is best for you can be discussed and agreed upon our initial meeting. If you decide to go ahead, we can then set a suitable day and time for your regular sessions. The sessions can be weekly or flexible. They can take place face-to-face or online (video conference)
Practice description
Depending on the issue that concerns you and your own needs we will decide the length of therapy as well as its style.
I have expertise in working with a number of issues including anxiety, stress, depression, meaninglessness, relational difficulties, work life balance and cross cultural issues. I have considerable experience in the National Health Service (NHS) counselling and psychotherapy settings, offering individual and group psychotherapy to highly traumatised individuals struggling with deep rooted emotional and psychological difficulties.
Fees:
Free initial telephone consultation
Then a sliding scale from £80- £100 per 50 minutes sessions.
For longer-term work, fees can be negotiated.
