About me and my therapy practice
Recently awarded Trauma Therapy Service of the Year 2022 - Hampshire, by Global Health & Pharma. I am a BACP registered Counsellor/Therapist, Supervisor, and Trainer (register number 333403) working in Winchester, and online.
I have experience working with a wide range of issues with clients, although I am particularly passionate about working with clients who:
- have experienced early attachment disruption
- experienced, or are experiencing, trauma or abuse, including
- transgenerational / childhood / adulthood abuse
- have a personality disorder diagnosis
- experience dissociation / have a dissociative disorder
- experience self harm or suicidal feeling, thoughts, or impulses
I have worked as a therapist over a number of years, initially in Watford, and more recently in Winchester, and online. In addition to this, I work as a clinical supervisor, both in my private practice, and for a local counselling organisation. I am also a member of the Accreditation and Membership Committee for a Regional Training Establishment. Prior to this I had some experience conducting annual reviews of the efficacy of Therapeutic Communities around the UK.
My initial training (BA degree) was in Integrative Counselling, offering a variety of ways of working with clients. I have subsequently trained in Internal Family Systems Therapy and ongoing Psychotherapy training in Transactional Analysis.
Alongside training in therapeutic approaches, I have extensive training specialising in working with trauma.
I am a member of the following professional/membership bodies:
- British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy
- UK Association for Transactional Analysis
- European Association for Transactional Analysis
- International Transactional Analysis Association
- International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation

About me and my therapy practice
Recently awarded Trauma Therapy Service of the Year 2022 - Hampshire, by Global Health & Pharma.
I have a Level 7 Postgraduate Certificate in Supervision and have experience in offering supervision to practitioners from a variety of modalities. I supervise qualified therapists and trainees, in person and online, individually or in groups, on a fortnightly/monthly basis. I also teach Level 4 and Level 5 TA Theory to counselling students at a local college.
I have trained in Integrative, Internal Family Systems, and Transactional Analysis approaches and have specialised in my private practice to work with clients who have experienced trauma, dissociation, have personality disorder diagnoses, self harm, or experience suicidal ideation.
I have had experience in reviewing organisational and practitioner responses to suicidal risk presented in therapy, and am passionate about resourcing practitioners to work with their clients in this area. I am also a member of the Accreditation and Membership Committee for a Regional Training Establishment. Prior to this I had some experience conducting annual reviews of the efficacy of Therapeutic Communities around the UK.
