About me and my therapy practice
Therapy can be a confidential, supportive, non-judgmental space to explore feelings and issues. It can help people develop self-acceptance, understanding, relaxation techniques and coping strategies. It can also help people work towards goals, positive change, improved relationships and a reduction of unhelpful habits and behaviours.
I am an Integrative Counsellor which means I use a variety of techniques and approaches in my work. I tailor my way of working to meet the needs of the person I am working with. The way we work will also depend on what you would like to achieve through therapy.
I have worked with clients experiencing a range of issues and offer short-term, long-term and open-ended therapy. You are welcome to bring very specific, solution-focused issues to be worked on in the short-term. At the same time, issues which require exploration over a longer period of time are welcome too.
My fee is £50 per session (discount offered for students and those on low income). I offer a free 15 minute phone consultation to give you chance to decide whether you’d like to work with me.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

About me and my therapy practice
Supervision is a compulsory part of our practice so it’s really important to find the right supervisor. Good supervision can really make those difficult times as a therapist easier and just knowing you have a good supervisor behind you can make working in private practice less lonely.
I am an accredited, integrative counsellor and have an MA in counselling from the University of Manchester. I currently work in private practice as a therapist and supervisor.
For supervision I use the Shohet 7 eyed model. Feedback from my clients and supervisees tells me I am warm, supportive and motivating in the way I work. It really fulfils me to help other therapists reach their potential.
A lot of my work is with college and University students, and I have ample experience working with trainee therapists. In addition, I have helped dozens of therapists set up in private practice and begin a career in self-employment.
