About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced and fully qualified counsellor, psychotherapist and coach.Life is often hard and can challenge us in many ways. You may be feeling anxious, lack confidence, be suffering a loss or experiencing other significant change in your life.
Exploring your thoughts, feelings and emotions in a supportive environment can provide clarity and help to begin the healing process.
As a result of my varied experience, I am able to draw upon a range of different counselling and coaching practices to support my clients.
I am also an experienced life coach and NLP practitioner. I have corporate experience, having worked as a board director for 9 years in the transport sector.
I currently offer counselling sessions by Zoom or by telephone. Taking that first step to talk with a qualified counsellor can sometimes feel daunting and so I offer a half hour discussion free of charge so that you can talk with me and ask any questions that you might have. If you decide that you would like to continue with our sessions then you can book a block of 3 or 6 sessions. Please email me to arrange a confidential discussion.
Practice description
I am an integrative counsellor. That means that as a result of my varied experience, I am able to draw upon a range of different counselling and coaching practices to support my clients.
I offer a safe space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings and emotions.
It is my aim to help people to talk about mental fitness just as we do physical fitness.
It is important that our sessions are client led as each person is unique. I work with my clients to facilitate healing by ensuring that they are able to access their own inner resources.
My first session
I offer an initial half hour session free of charge so that we can talk and so that you can ask any questions that you might have.
At the first therapy session I will ask you to complete a well being assessment. We will use this to refer back to during therapy.
We will look at what it is you want to bring to the session and what you would like to achieve from therapy.
