About me and my therapy practice
I am an integrated relational counsellor specifically trained to listen and use my skills, to offer support in helping you find a way forward, without judgment or criticism. Counselling can help by giving you the time to talk about what is troubling you and support you to come to a clearer understanding of yourself and the difficulties you are experiencing. It can reduce feelings of distress and anxiety, increase self-awareness and insight, and help you develop skills around managing stress. Counselling may also include challenges such as experiencing and discussing uncomfortable feelings, e.g. sadness, guilt, anxiety, anger, yet I believe that counselling can lead to positive change. Alongside seeing clients privately I volunteer for Marie Curie and abide by the ethical framework of the BACP. I provide a safe confidential space to talk, and offer weekly short term or long term support according to your individual needs.
