About me and my therapy practice
As an experienced psychotherapist and counsellor, I've previously consulted for The Priory Group, the NHS and corporates within the tech and banking sectors.
As an integrative practitioner with a human approach, I use theory and techniques from psychodynamic, person centred and CBT teachings to best support your needs. I adapt my work to best suit you and your difficulties.
I now work on a one-to-one basis with adults and adolescents through my private therapy clinic, Vitus Wellbeing. We're based in South West London (Fulham/Putney), but see clients from across the country (and overseas) via video call.
Along with my administrative team, I manage a group of specialist psychotherapists who work with children, adolescents, adults and families. We also offer specialist support for parents via parent support coaching. We only work with the very best therapists and we're proud to offer a very high standard of care.
--------------------
Private therapy offers you the chance to explore your challenges with someone who is independent and non-judgemental.
It's important to find the right therapist for you, not just the therapist with the best availability!
--------------------
Contact me with any queries and to check our current availability for new clients. I'd be happy to share any openings I may have, or the other members of my team.
Practice description
I run Vitus Wellbeing - a specialist private therapy clinic based in London.I practice from our suite of warm and welcoming therapy rooms in Fulham, South-West London. We are a 1 minute walk from the nearest tube station (Putney Bridge) and a 10 minute walk from the nearest train station (Putney). There are also numerous bus routes that stop nearby.
For clients that live further afield or who prefer to meet virtually, I am happy to meet over video call or telephone.
My first session
The first session offers a chance for us to meet and to get a sense of one another. I will ask a number of questions to try to understand the difficulties you're facing and what you'd like to work on. This also helps me to understand if I'm best placed to help you.Towards the end of the session, I'll make a suggestion as to whether I think we'd make a good fit to keep working together, and then offer you the chance to head home and think before deciding whether to continue or not.
If you'd like to continue, we'll find a convenient day and time to meet and go from there. If you'd prefer to meet someone else, I'll do all I can to suggest a suitable therapist from my team, or to refer you on within my networks.
There's never any pressure to continue with me or with any therapist I suggest, but I appreciate how daunting it can be to find a therapist, so I'll help as best I can.
