Are you feeling stuck or unhappy with your circumstances or finding yourself repeating the same patterns in relationships?
Counselling can help you explore the issues that you are facing, and help you identify patterns of behaviour to help you learn to look at new ways of being.
I work extensively with anxiety, relationship issues, bereavement, depression and low self-esteem and am a registered therapist for Stonewall and The Terrence Higgins Trust.
I use different therapeutic approaches depending on the stage of your life that issues began to arise- therefore the therapy I offer is tailored to suit your specific requirements. These include a person centred approach placing your needs at the heart of our work and a belief that with the right support we all have the capacity to reach our full potential.
I offer professional, confidential short term solution focused therapy as well as long term open ended counselling and this can be discussed and then reviewed throughout our work together.
I offer a free 30 minute zoom consultation and offer both face to face and online sessions.
I work with individuals and young people.
My first session
Your first session is a chance for you and I to see how we might work together. I will ask questions about what has brought you to counselling, where you have come from (your past) and where you would like to be.
There is no obligation for you to book anything else after this initial consultation.
If you decide after your initial session that you wish to continue with me then I recommend a minimum of six regular weekly sessions. This achieves the best outcomes for the clients that I work with. Missing sessions or having breaks can impact on outcomes.
There is no obligation for you to stay for a certain number of sessions though and we can look together at the amount that feels suitable for you. I offer a maximum of 30 sessions.

About me and my therapy practice
I am an accredited Integrative counsellor and supervisor working with young people and their families.
I specialise in anxiety and anxiety disorders, working predominantly with neurodivergent young people and have run counselling services in schools, sixth-form colleges and private practice.
Innovation is at the heart of my approach. My current research delves into the potential of immersive technologies in treating anxiety, exploring new and imaginative methods to connect with young people.
Alongside my therapeutic work, I also deliver training to schools and youth organisations on youth mental health.
In practice, I employ a variety of therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Transactional Analysis, and Mindfulness. Additionally, I often incorporate creative methods like imagery work to facilitate deeper insight and processing.
