About me and my therapy practice
Hello, things may be quite difficult for you right now, maybe they have been for some time. What may help is speaking to a down to earth and approachable, highly qualified psychotherapist with over a decade of experience.
I, myself, have provided over 8000 hours of psychotherapy with hundreds of remarkable people. People like you who have decided to dedicate time to themselves to improve how it feels to live their lives.
I am an open and authentic person, I will not sit silently, my intention is to build a real connection with you. Together we will work through your experiences, thoughts, fears, grief and pain to gain some clarity on what has brought you to this point. This mutual discovery often means things feel much lighter, more doable and the path forwards feels clearer.

Practice description
Worried about talking about your issues? I am trained to work creatively so we can find other ways of communicating other than talking alone, if you'd like to explore this option.
Need to get out and about? I am certified in Walk&Talk therapy so we can have a wonder around the parks of Morley if you'd like to move while we work.
Would like therapy but have no time? I am certified and experienced in working remotely (online via zoom and over telephone) and have found this to work very well for my clients. The majority of my client work is remote.
I also offer sessions from my office space in Morley Leeds, a calm quiet space specifically designed for therapy. Our offices are 10 minutes from Morley train station and a 10 minute walk from Morley Centre (LS27).
Feel your issues are too huge or complex? I provide counselling services for the Police Federation and have significant experience working with people who may feel reluctant or unsure about therapy and doubtful that it will help. If you feel this way too, I invite you to book a session and give it a try.
Feel you're stuck with the effects of your traumatic experience(s)? I am a certified Trauma Informed therapist and I am ready to support you with the difficult experiences in your past that may still feel very much here in the present. I am trained to offer 'Rewind' - a technique which can reduce or remove the emotional legacy of traumatic events quickly without the need to speak about the events with me.
My first session
I am happy to have a conversation over the phone or over zoom to see if we feel we can work well together. These last around 15 minutes and are not charged.
Future sessions are charged £60 for 50 minutes.
Initial sessions include a conversation about what brings you to therapy as well as some questions which help me offer you the right support. There is no obligation to book more sessions after attending the first one.
Meetings can be arranged around your commitments as much as possible and you do not need to agree to the same time each week.

About me and my therapy practice
Hello,
Are you looking for an approachable, down to earth supervisor who is also well qualified and highly experienced?
I am a BACP Accredited counsellor, qualified to Level 7 (MA Psych), qualified supervisor (PG.Dip) and qualified adult lecturer in counselling and Supervision (PGCE).
You may have seen me on social media as I have contributed a wide variety of lectures to the Counselling Tutor library as well as teaching on the Counselling Tutor Supervision course. I also have a youtube channel Sally-Anne Armitage @NextChapterOnline.
I am deeply passionate about counselling, I have lectured it, read about it, studied and discussed it much of the time for over 10 years!
Due to lecturing in counselling in the past I have a thorough understanding of theory, ethics and the use of counselling skills, which has been very useful when supporting supervisees. I trained in supervision to connect my love of training with my love of counselling.
As a supervisor I am warm, down to earth and transparent. I encourage supervisees to speak openly in a productive, calm and supportive atmosphere. I am also very congruent as a character and will speak openly if I have any observations or insights which may help broaden your awareness and enhance your practice.
We will work alongside each other as professionals and address issues raised through in depth exploration and mature discussion. I hope we will also have a laugh too!
Fees
My fee is £60per hour for qualified and trainee counsellors. In most circumstances this will mean a £90 per month financial commitment.
Feel free to call, send a message or email and we can arrange an initial 10-15 minute zoom meeting.
