I know from personal experience that the challenges life throws at us can have a huge impact on our emotional wellbeing, and cause us to feel overwhelmed and not in control of our own lives at times. This can feel distressing, confusing and lead us to act in ways that aren’t in line with our true selves.
Taking the first step to seeking help with anything that is causing a block or interrupting in the life you want to live can be scary and daunting, but also incredibly brave.
Counselling provides a safe space for you to explore what’s not working so well in your life right now and gives you the strength to make the changes that are right for you.
I truly believe that we all have the capacity to grow, flourish and make changes to be the person we truly are. Counselling will provide the emotional space for this this process to happen.
Some of the issues that I work through with my clients are; anxiety, low self esteem, depression, addiction, bereavement, trauma and abuse.
I'm highly experienced, having worked in private practice for many years as well as with a bereavement agency helping adults as well as children and young people negotiate their way through the difficult path of loss and bereavement.
I also work with children and young people, privately and within secondary schools within the borough.
I have contributed my expertise to media articles on how to talk to your children about Cancer for Good to Know magazine , see below:
