About me and my therapy practice
Therapy can be an intriguing but terrifying prospect for many people. At a cost designed to make therapy a viable option for more people, I provide a safe space where you can explore your troubling thoughts, feelings and behaviours, whilst feeling contained and supported. Together, we can explore the parts of yourself and your experience of the world that may never have been paid much attention to before but which may hold the key as to why you are experiencing the difficulties that bring you into therapy.
Therapists have many roles, one of which is to help people be more curious about themselves and gain insight into why they experience the world in the way that they do. With sensitivity and kindness, I can help my clients see what part they themselves might be playing in the problems they are experiencing. By doing this, they can choose to live life differently, in a way that is less challenging, and hopefully more meaningful and rewarding.
I am a BACP-registered, qualified counsellor and psychotherapist. I have worked with therapy clients in a wide variety of settings including NHS GP surgeries, specialist psychotherapy clinics, bereavement services and community mental health drop-in centres.
