About me and my therapy practice
Reaching out for support is the most difficult thing to do. I appreciate that and hope that now you have made that step you are able to make those change you want to make.
I can offer a 10-minute telephone call to outline the main issues, or you can email me. It is important that the relationship feels right, as this is key to helpful therapy.
My specialism is Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC). I do work with neurotypical clients too.
I use an integrative approach to my work, predominantly Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Psychodynamic theory. I also use psychoeducation, coaching and elements of Growth Mindset theory to help with self-esteem and confidence.
Practice description
Integrative psychotherapy means using more than one modality, for example CBT, psychodynamic, etc. I find clients have a variety of individual needs and I tailor my sessions to the needs of you, so the sessions are not prescriptive but for you. I work in the way that means you will get the best out of your therapy.
I have qualifications in Psychotherapy, psychodynamic theory, CBT, using creative work, using mindfulness and many other mental health related qualifications related to ADHD and Autism. These can be found on my website.
I have been working in private practice since 2016 and have many positive testimonials on my website. See: https://www.spring.me.uk/testimonials/

About me and my therapy practice
Supervisor Post Graduate Certificate in Counselling Supervision.
I am an experienced integrative/relational Counsellor and Psychotherapist and a qualified Clinical Supervisor. I qualified in 2021 with my postgraduate in Clinical Supervision from the University of Derby.
I offer specialist supervision for psychotherapists and counsellors working with neurodivergent clients. Therapy for neurodivergent clients needs to be delivered by specialists, it is essential that supervision is received from a qualified practitioner experienced within this field.
I aim to provide therapists with a reflective and containing space to bring all aspects of their clinical practice in order to work as effectively, safely and ethically as possible with clients.
I envisage my supervisory role as holding a space in which you, the therapist, can feel supported, develop and ultimately flourish as a practitioner. I aim to enable you to be reflective and curious about your practice and the impact of your work on you and your clients. As with my client work I believe it is the relationship which enables this to happen.
I offer supervision to therapists working with adults. I work to the BACP Ethical Framework.
Please contact me via email to arrange an initial session to discuss your supervisory needs and how I could support your work.
At this initial meeting we can discuss and agree a mutual working agreement to help create a safe and trusting learning environment which reflects your individual needs.
My spaces currently are on a Thursday or Friday afternoon.
Supervision (£90 for an hour and a half) I am able to meet online via Zoom. I am looking into offering face to face in Bingley.
