About me and my therapy practice
I offer a warm, collaborative, and compassionate approach to therapy where encouragement and hope are at the core of my work. I am a Senior Accredited and Registered member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy and a qualified and experienced Supervisor. I have also undertaken substantive training in providing counselling online which has enabled me to become a Level 2 Professional Member with the Association for Counselling and Therapy online. (ACTO)
With over 16 years’ experience of working as a counsellor in GP Surgeries, the University of Cambridge Counselling Service and in Independent Practice, I have worked with people from all walks of life and many different backgrounds. I also have considerable experience of working with grief and loss, through eight years of training, supervising and volunteering with Cruse Bereavement Care.
I offer counselling to help you to work through current difficulties or challenges, or to explore more long-term concerns. These may include relationship issues, low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, life changes, loss or bereavement. As a qualified and experienced Integrative Counsellor, I can draw on different therapeutic approaches to help meet your individual needs.
I have previously worked for the Richmond Fellowship, a mental health charity, providing employment support and advice to adults returning to the workplace following a period of depression, anxiety, stress or other mental health challenges. I understand how difficult it can feel to return to work, or consider career and work-life changes at any stage of life. I provide a safe and confidential space to help you consider fresh perspectives and to navigate a way forward.

About me and my therapy practice
I aim to offer supervision which is warm, supportive and challenging, enabling you to feel energised in your therapeutic work. I have significant experience of working as a supervisor in the counselling profession, both with experienced and trainee counsellors.
I am a Senior Accredited and Registered member of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy. I gained a Diploma in Supervision accredited by the Institute for Individual Psychology (ASIIP) with Cambridge Supervision Training (CST) in 2016. In addition to my individual supervision training with CST, I qualified with Cruse Bereavement Care as a supervisor in 2012 and facilitated supervision groups for Cruse Bereavement volunteers for several years.
I have also facilitated long-term Reflective Practice groups for individuals working in other professions including nurses and support staff in Higher Education. I welcome enquiries from organisations regarding Reflective Practice sessions for staff.
As both a counsellor and supervisor, I am trained in an Integrative approach and work with supervisees across different therapeutic models. I offer an open and collaborative approach to supervision and recognise the importance of offering therapists a safe and non-judgemental space to reflect on their work.
