About me and my therapy practice
I am a BACP registered and accredited counsellor with 18 years experience. I work from Rutland House on Friar Lane.. a beautiful Grade II listed building situated in the St Martins area of the city.
In addition l work from my home practice where l also offer other modalities and holistic therapies, my website for counselling & holistic therapy is :
www.steppingstonescrystalreikisound.com
I work in a way that is sensitive, in-touch and eclectic, offering a 'tailor-made' approach to each individual client.
Whilst being in private practice I have worked with a diverse range of issues and my work experience includes 5 years in prison, probation and hostel settings, and a 10 year long service certificate awarded by Cruse Bereavement Care.
As a professional counsellor my role is to provide a safe and trusting environment, the emphasis being on the therapeutic relationship, where you will find a calm, compassionate and non-judgmental approach that is sensitive, in-touch and unique to you, enabling you to explore any issues that you feel are causing you difficulties in your life.
Counselling can provide a person with a better understanding of their emotions, behaviours and perception of life experiences. I work to promote the process of healing and believe everyone has the inner resources for personal growth. I am committed to helping people work through their life challenges, identifying specific areas that may need change.
I specialise in bereavement and loss and have a special interest in working with survivors of suicide.
In addition to my private practice l run Stepping Stones as a holistic therapist working with the healing arts, offering holistic treatments that complement and run alongside convensional therapy, helping clients to relax in a peaceful environment.
I offer home visits at a time that suits you and an added option to visit my home practice postcode LE8.
