About me and my therapy practice
I am an accredited counsellor offering short- and longer-term counselling for individuals. I also offer small group and individual experiences within the broad themes and therapeutic depths of mindfulness and creative writing.
I work on Mondays and Fridays from The Centre for Whole Health, 12 Victoria Place, Bedminster, Bristol, BS3 3BP (where I am also a co-director).
The way I work:
I offer an integrative and transpersonal and mindful approach to counselling.
Maybe you sense you need a one-off or short series of sessions to address a particular issue or goal. You are maybe looking for a longer explorative counselling experience.
The choice is yours to make and ours to lean in to and to try and accommodate.
I am relatively active in sessions whereby we can learn to share our curiosity, heart and wisdom and together create our journey in a unique way that is centred around you.
I have recently begun to honour my own forms of neuro-divergence (undiagnosed issues with the ordering of written words, bamboozlement around numbers and well masked autistic traits) and I continue to welcome and work well with others who experience similar ways of being.
My personal contemplative, creative writing and meditative practices and my desire to live authentically and lightly upon this earth enhances my ability to be open, genuine and present within life and within any counselling relationship.
Costs
I charge £45-£65 per 50 minute session . Those paying nearer to the top of the range enable me to offer lower cost sessions for those who need it
What refreshes me?
I love being a student within my spiritual tradition, I meditate, read, cycle and also to write poetry and journal. I sing in a beautiful choir and enjoy being in nature and being with family and with friends and being active within a city of friends yet met.
Practice description
The practice centre rooms are all on the ground floor. On the second floor is a fairly traded honesty cafe and meditation hall and the third floor houses The Lam Rim Buddhist offering.
I am also a voluntary director of the Centre for Whole Health.

After a free half hour chat about whether we could be a good match, the first 50 min session aims to bring us gently towards an initial focus for our times together, alongside a plan for our first review of our journey together.
