About me and my therapy practice
My own experiences of living with anxiety and depression allows me to be able to relate to how you might be suffering; counselling enabled me to build self awareness and better strategies to cope with daily life. I can help you do this too.
Whatever you're going through, we can explore together the best way for you to move forward.
I have a dedicated therapy room at my home near Dartford in Kent.
I hold a Diploma in Integrative Counselling from a BACP accredited college.
I am a member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy). My practice complies with the BACP’s stringent ethical and professional guidelines. I have full DBS (CRB) certification, professional indemnity insurance, and clinical supervision.
In addition to my private practice I work in the community as a mental health worker, I have previous experience working with clients who have long term severe mental illness, as well as working as an independent mental health advocate and in occupational therapy.
I can help clients with a broad range of issues but I have particular experience in the areas below:
Anxiety
Depression
Self-esteem issues
Relationship difficulties
Family issues
Anger
Loss/bereavement
Trauma
Abuse
